Of the dwarf species, this one has been the most tractable for us. A Ron Ratko collection from Mt. Eddy at 2700m this small tuft of finely disected leaves that whorl about the stem is utterly charming. The dark blue flowers with saucy exerted stamens cap it off. Grow in lean gravelly soil; small enough for a trough at 8cm.
