Stachys coccinea

From Alplains seed: "Graham Co., AZ, 7200ft, 2195m. Soft-hairy, emerald foliage bears spikes of red, tubular flowers with flaring lips from mid-summer to frost. Easily grown, blooming the first year from seed. This population was at the highest elevation I’ve seen, hopefully increasing its hardiness factor. I had a customer in Minnesota tell me his plants from my original collection back in 2006 lived through their winters."
