Patrinia triloba

Growing only on Honshu, Japan, this collection is found in sparse, open woodland at 2000m on Hotaka Dake; palmate leaves are held on red stems; rich yellow flowers are borne in panicles up to 10cm wide. An excellent plant for a woodland garden or a more open site.
