A lovely campanula relative forming compact (7cm) tufts of leaves shaped like a sabre from which thread-like stems bearing blue/gray flowers tipped with bright red anthers are borne in profusion in June. This is a not so well known genus which is valued for its gift of summer bloom; collected at 2500m. on the rocky limestone slopes of Sipikor Dag, Turkey.
